Competencies for fireworks contractors and operators

National competencies in fireworks for outdoor displays have been developed for fireworks contractors and operators. Any provider of this training must be a registered training organisation (RTO).

In Queensland, Healthy Business Training Academy is the only organisation providing this training and their training package has been approved by the Chief Inspector of Explosives. Contact them to discuss your training requirements.

Note: Competencies for close proximity fireworks have been introduced, but there are no approved training courses yet.
