Amending notice

If the landing place changes during a fishing operation, you must update the landing place given in your pre-trip notice by giving an amending notice.

The new landing place provided in the amending notice is only valid for that fishing operation.

The commercial fisher in control of the fishing operation is responsible for meeting these reporting requirement.

When to report

The amending notice must be submitted at least 1 hour before:

• the boat lands at the new landing place – if using a boat but not a beach seine net
• fishing is carried out at the new landing place – if using a boat and a beach seine net.

How to report

You can either:

• submit through the Qld eFisher app (if eligible fishery)
• call the Automated Interactive Voice Response (AIVR) system.
