Pipeline, facility and infrastructure notices and reports

Amendments to the petroleum and gas reporting guideline were released on 31 October 2018. Find out more about the new reporting requirements.

You must notify us before you construct, commission or operate a licensed petroleum pipeline. You must also submit an annual report for the petroleum pipeline and for any other licensed petroleum facility.

Holders of petroleum leases who have constructed infrastructure associated with development (e.g. gathering lines, compressor stations, water treatment facilities) must provide information on these items.

Read how to meet your notification and reporting obligations under Queensland resources legislation, and download a flowchart of reporting requirements for petroleum pipeline licences (PDF, 129KB).

Permits this applies to

  • Petroleum lease
  • Petroleum pipeline licence
  • Petroleum facility licence
