GSQ Lodgement Portal
New GSQ Lodgement Portal
The GSQ Lodgement Portal replaces the report submission aspect of QDEX Reports.
This is a short guide on how to register, access and lodge reports in the new portal.
New industry reporting templates and practice directions are expected to be released in mid-September 2020.
The GSQ Lodgement Portal lets you submit statutory reports and notices.
The portal replaces QDEX Reports and is managed by the Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ).
Register to use the portal
To use the GSQ Lodgement Portal, you must have a Queensland Government (QGov) My Account.
This account provides access to a range of government online services using a single log in.
If you were previously registered with QDEX Reports you will need to use an existing QGov account or set one up through the QGov website.

Lodging statutory reports
Resource authority holders need to submit a range of statutory reports on their activities through the GSQ Lodgement Portal.
Changes to reporting requirements
The GSQ Lodgement Portal supports the use of new industry reporting templates, which capture geoscience data in a more structured, itemised way.
These templates will be available with new industry reporting practice directions, expected to be released in mid-September 2020.
However, until the new practice directions are released, reports can be lodged in the GSQ Lodgement Portal by following the current reporting requirements.
