GSQ Lodgement Portal

New reporting requirements and confidentiality periods

New reporting practice directions and data submission templates are available. Read more about the new reporting requirements and implementation timelines.

  • To help authority holders transition to the new reporting system, there is a reporting 'grace period' from 1 October 2020 until 30 June 2021.
  • Effective from 1 October 2020, the confidentiality period for minerals and coal exploration reports is 5 years from the date of first lodgement.

The GSQ Lodgement Portal lets you submit statutory reports and notices.

The portal replaces QDEX Reports and is managed by the Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ).

Register to use the portal

To use the GSQ Lodgement Portal, you must have a Queensland Government (QGov) My Account.

This account provides access to a range of government online services using a single log in.

If you were previously registered with QDEX Reports you will need to use an existing QGov account or set one up through the QGov website.
