Have your say on the Georgina and Diamantina water plan review

Consultation on the Georgina and Diamantina draft water plan is now open.

Anyone with an interest in water management in the plan area can make a written submission by 5pm 16 December 2026.

Tell us what you think about the proposed changes, how they may affect you and any improvements you’d like us to consider before we finalise the Georgina and Diamantina draft water plan.

You may include your contact details if you are happy for us to follow up with you about your submission.

Infrastructure

The scope of this review is limited to the management and allocation of water.
Any issues or comments relating to the assessment or approval of infrastructure proposals should be referred to the Office of the Coordinator-General.
