Funding for cap and pipe projects

Funding for cap and pipe projects is available through the Great Artesian Basin rehabilitation program (GABRP) for the Queensland section of the Great Artesian Basin. You may receive funding for up to 90% of your estimated total project costs.

Apply

1. Complete the expression of interest form (PDF, 1.3MB) and email to BPMO@rdmw.qld.gov.au.
2. We will create and send you a registered Form 001 – Grant funding application (application form) – view a sample of form 001 (PDF, 599KB).
3. Complete your application form, using the GABRP funding guidelines (PDF, 1.8MB).
4. Submit your application before 4pm, Friday 8 November 2024.

Once your application is submitted, we will assess it and contact you if any information needs clarification.

Subject to availability of funds, eligible projects will be considered for the 2025–26 financial year.

Projects must be completed in accordance with the Funding for Works Deed (PDF, 1.5MB) and construction requirements for bores in the Great Artesian Basin. We may monitor for compliance (including site inspections and observations of drilling works).
