Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred—support for agribusiness
Report damage to your farm or business
These reports help determine if you will need extra support during recovery.
Primary producer survey:
- Report any damages or losses to your farm through the disaster impact survey.
- Include date-stamped photos, which most mobile phone cameras do automatically.
- Only take photos if it is safe to do so.
Small business survey:
Access financial support
Primary producers in eligible local government areas may be able to access:
- freight subsidies of up to $5,000 per property to move essential materials such as fodder, building and fencing materials, machinery, and animals for restocking
- Disaster Assistance Loans, up to $250,000
- Essential Working Capital Loans, up to $100,000.
The Rural Financial Counselling Service (RFCS) can help you apply for government financial assistance and other rural financial counselling advice.
