FishNet Secure
FishNet Secure allows commercial fishers and authority holders to:
- update contact details
- customise Automated Interactive Voice Response (AIVR) reporting
- access licence details
- manage quota
- register vessel tracking units.
What you can do
Read the user guide (PDF, 1.4MB) for full details on how to use FishNet functions.
Update your contact details
You must tell us if these details have changed:
- your residential address
- contact phone numbers
- email address.
Customise AIVR reporting
The primary commercial fishing licence holder can customise the AIVR call flow for each primary commercial fishing licence:
- Sign in to the FishNet Secure account.
- Click on the ‘My Favourite Species’ button.
- Select the relevant primary commercial fishing licence.
- Turn off the quota species and fish forms that are not needed.
Once this is set up, your favourite species and fish forms will be read out first by the AIVR system.
View licence details
You can view and reset your licence PIN by clicking the ‘My PINs’ button.
Your commercial fisher licence PIN won’t be in an account that is registered as a company, business or joint authority.
You can update the commercial fisher in control associations under 'My CFIC Associations'.
Manage quota
You can view your individual transferable quota (ITQ) unit balances under ‘My Quota’.
Make sure you check regularly and before you start a new fishing trip.
You can:
- temporarily transfer quota (select 'Transfer entitlement' under 'My quota')
- view quota usage statements and quota balances
- manage trawl exceptions related to quota deductions.
Register vessel tracking units
Select 'Vessel tracking' under the menu on the left hand side of the page.
Here, you can:
- register a new vessel tracking unit
- update the boat communication notice.
