Cancelling your biosecurity entity registration
If you own or keep certain animals in Queensland, you have to be registered as a biosecurity entity. Read more about who must be registered.
Cancel your registration
You should cancel your registration if:
- you no longer meet these registration requirements
- your registration circumstances have changed (for example, as a result of a partnership or company dissolving). If you still meet the requirements for registration, you must then register as a new biosecurity entity.
Note: You cannot transfer your entity registration to another person or organisation (e.g. if you sell your animals to another person). They will need to register as a biosecurity entity.
You can cancel your registration by logging into your biosecurity entity registration portal online account, completing and returning the application to deregister form (PDF, 33KB), or by phoning our Customer Service Centre on 13 25 23.
