Your business may be eligible for financial assistance under the joint Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA):

This support is administered by the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA).

These grants and loans are available to small businesses in the following local government areas:

  • Ipswich City Council

State land rent relief

Your business may be eligible for state land rent relief. Eligible landholders who had land rent due in March now don't need to pay until December 1.

Disaster recovery allowance

You and your employees may be eligible for a short-term payment if your income has been affected by a disaster. Visit the Department of Human Services for disaster recovery allowance eligibility criteria.

Tradies' register to help with repairs

If you need help with clean-up or repairs, you can search the South East Queensland rainfall and flooding register to find a licensed contractor working in your local area.

Licensed contractors available to work in flood-affected areas can join the register to help with repairs to make buildings secure, safe and habitable.
