Operator accreditation
If you plan to operate a road-based public passenger service in Queensland, you may need operator accreditation.
Operator accreditation helps ensure passenger transport services meet safety and quality standards. It applies if you provide passenger transport in any of the following circumstances:
- for a fare or other payment
- as part of a business
- as a community or courtesy transport service.

Personalised transport
If you arrange bookings for personalised transport, such as taxis or ride-booking vehicles, you may also need a booking entity authorisation.
