Certifying plant or equipment installed at operating plant
The Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 prescribes safety requirements for certain types of plant or equipment installed at operating plant.
Before making these types of plant or equipment operational, the installer must certify the installation complies with the safety requirements.
Use the online form below or a certification document under the operator's safety management system to certify your installation complies under section 697 of the Act.
You should retain a copy of the certificate for at least 7 years. A copy of the certificate should be given to the owner, operator or proposed operator and should be retained for the life of the plant or equipment.
