The QTIC Indigenous Champions network supports tourism employers to hire and retain Indigenous employees. The volunteer 'champions' who make up the network, have all been chosen based on their success with and commitment to employing Indigenous staff.

Employment assistance programs
The Back to Work program provides financial support to eligible employers who hire long-term unemployed or young unemployed job seekers in regional or South East Queensland areas.
If you're an employer, you could be eligible for payments ranging from $10,000 to $20,000. Eligible job seekers can access training and re-skilling opportunities, and receive assistance to connect with employment and training opportunities.
