We provide free, interactive online maps where you can access the most current information and select the content you want to display for your specific area of interest.

Interactive online maps

Most Queensland Government location-based data is now available as free interactive online maps. Create your own maps to view, download, print and share:

  • Queensland Globe – explore spatial data including aerial imagery, property, valuations, soil and other location-based data across Queensland. View and combine different spatial layers to create and share a customised map.
  • Property topic – access a pre-configured grouping of detailed land and cadastral data in the Queensland Globe. Explore property data on the map and use tools such as the identify function to view key details such as lot and plan numbers, area, tenure, and valuation. It is from this spatial data that users can generate an A4 cadastral SmartMap for a selected property, which can be saved or shared.
  • QTopo – access topographic maps of Queensland, showing natural and built features such as terrain, waterways, roads and infrastructure. Users can explore data online, download pre-generated map sheets, or create customised high-resolution maps for a selected area.
  • GeoResGlobe – view Queensland's mining and exploration data including permits, geology, and resource activity. Combine different spatial layers to create and share a customised map.
