Business Resilience Partnership Program

The Business Resilience Partnership Program supports small businesses impacted by Tropical Cyclone Jasper and the 2023-2024 South East Queensland severe storms and rainfall event.

The program provides funding to local councils, chambers of commerce and other industry and business stakeholder groups to work with their small business communities to enhance individual business resilience during and after natural disasters.

The maximum funding available per project is $50,000.

Far North Queensland (Tropical Cyclone Jasper)

  • Douglas Shire Council
  • Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council
  • Mareeba Shire Council
  • Tablelands Regional Council
  • Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council
  • Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council

South East region (South East Queensland severe storms and rainfall)

  • City of Gold Coast
  • Logan City Council
  • Scenic Rim Regional Council

Eligible activities

Your proposal should concentrate activities in the following areas.

  • Activities that generally focus on business coaching, mentoring and networking activities proposed and led by local councils, chambers or industry/business groups, with a focus on small business support.
  • Activities that increase understanding and knowledge of business resilience practices (including mental resilience) as well as imparting the skills to apply these practices.
  • Activities that demonstrate connectivity with small businesses and relevant service providers such as:
