- Extensive mangrove communities with about 20 species (dominated by Rhizophora, Avicennia, and Ceriops) as well as the Cannonball mangrove (Xylocarpus mekongensis)
- Dense seagrass meadows with at least 8 species of seagrass recorded
- Extensive salt pans
