Have your say on the review of the Queensland Retail Shop Leases Act 1994.

The Act aims to support fair, transparent and efficient retail leasing arrangements between landlords and tenants. It is being reviewed to ensure it continues to meet its objectives.

You can make a submission in response to the discussion paper or complete an online survey.

Submissions close at 5pm, Friday 11 September 2026.

There are questions throughout the discussion paper to help guide your submission. You do not have to respond to all questions, only the ones that are relevant to you. We invite you to comment on your experiences and provide suggestions to improve the operation of the Act.
