Event Delivery Grant program
The Queensland Small Business Month 2026 Event Delivery Grant program funds locally delivered events in regional and remote Queensland.
Chambers of Commerce, industry associations/groups, and local councils can apply to deliver events tailored to their region's unique needs during Queensland Small Business Month (QSBM).
These events must include one or more of these elements:
- practical skills and capability uplift
- one-on-one business support
- opportunities to connect with government programs and/or local stakeholders.
Available funding
The program offers $2,500 (excluding GST) in funding. If successful, funding is paid upfront on approval. Successful applicants don't have to co-contribute to this grant but must pay for any related expenses in excess of the $2,500 in grant funding.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible to apply for the grant program, the applicant must (at the time of applying):
- have an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
- be based in Queensland
- be a small and family business association/group, industry association, Chamber of Commerce or local council which serves regional and remote communities
- have owners/directors who are solvent and not undischarged bankrupt.
The program will complement three expos delivered by the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business to be held in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Cairns.
Events delivered in Queensland but outside of the local government areas of Brisbane, Gold Coast or Cairns (excluding Cairns Regional Division 1) will be considered. To check the boundary, refer to the Electoral Commission of Queensland's local government boundaries.
