Building inclusive workforces in manufacturing

This webinar will:

• Build employer confidence in working with and employing people with disability in the manufacturing sector
• Share practical, co‑designed strategies for inclusive recruitment and workplace adjustments
• Highlight the benefits of working alongside people with disability to build diverse, inclusive teams
• Introduce the Work in Manufacturing Jobs Portal and the tailored supports available to employers
• Provide practical tools, real‑world examples, and guidance to help create accessible workplaces

This webinar is presented by Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) and Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN), will support employers in the manufacturing sector by building capability in inclusive recruitment, workplace adjustments, and ongoing support for employees with disability.

The session focuses on practical, employer‑led strategies for inclusion, including how to engage with people with disability in recruitment, make appropriate workplace adjustments, and provide ongoing support that enables employees to thrive.

Employers will be introduced to the Work in Manufacturing Jobs Portal as a practical tool to connect with diverse, job‑ready talent and strengthen inclusive employment practices. There will be an overview of the Inclusion Consultant role and the MSQ Workplace Health Check, including how employers can begin the Health Check online and access tailored support through one‑on‑one bookings. Employers registered for the session will receive a Health Check form in advance to support active participation.
