This webinar is designed for small business owners and accidental managers who have found themselves leading people and dealing with HR without formal training.
It is positioned as a practical, plain-english session that helps participants move from doing it all themselves to leading others with more confidence, while keeping their people foundations simple and compliant.
The central message of the webinar is that business owners cannot keep growing by relying on themselves as the hero. To step from doing it all themselves into leadership, they need to make three key shifts, use role clarity to get better results from their team, and put basic HR and compliance foundations in place.
By the end of the session, participants should:
- Understand the three key shifts needed to move from doing the work to leading others.
- Recognise why people are both a major cost and a major lever for business results.
- Be able to apply a simple role clarity lens using purpose, priorities and performance.
- Understand the core HR and compliance basics needed in a small business.
- See how “Set Roles” fits into the broader Peak People Ladder
