Specifications for funding for housing and homelessness peak and industry bodies
The Queensland Government partners with peak and industry bodies to fund activities to strengthen the housing and homelessness sector.
To receive funding your organisation must comply with the Housing and homelessness peak and industry bodies specifications (PDF, 1.2MB).
The specifications provide information on:
- the streams of activities we will fund in service agreements and funding schedules
- service user groups
- performance evaluation measures
- reporting requirements.
The specifications form part of your agreement to work with us together with individual contracts and work plans.
We will continue to review and update the specifications to ensure they remain contemporary and fit for purpose.
Core work streams
The activities included in your service agreement and funding schedule must fall into our 3 core work streams.
Strategic leadership
- Contributing to the development and improvement of government policies.
- Foster collaborative partnerships to deliver on priorities.
- Contribute to research and continuous improvement.
Capacity building
- Support service providers maximise investment opportunities to grow housing supply.
- Assess and responding to system needs.
- Enhance service provider operational capacity.
- Build workforce capability.
- Respond to requests from service providers.
Strategic engagement
- Deliver engagement or consultation.
- Bring together the sector's perspectives into a cohesive input for strategic discussions.
- Share information through communication channels to support consistent understanding of government policy and programs.
