Policies and guidelines for community housing providers

Current community housing policies

From 14 September 2026, all funded community housing providers delivering social housing services in Queensland, are to commence implementing the new Social Housing Policy. This may take up to 12 months.

Providers funded under the Crisis Accommodation Program will continue to comply with the previous community housing policies during the 12-month implementation period.

Further advice on Crisis Accommodation Program policy updates will be made available to providers funded under the program during the 12-month implementation period.

Current Social Housing Policy 2026 for funded community housing providers
