For small and family business owners micro-credentials are an effective and affordable way to develop skills and train staff.

Courses are concise and targeted, designed to equip you with specific skills and knowledge in less time than traditional qualifications.

Business courses

The University of the Sunshine Coast delivers micro-credential courses, funded by the Queensland Government, to upskill Queensland’s small and family businesses.

Leveraging AI course

Small businesses will learn to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) in their business to gain productivity advantages and build digital capability.

The course is delivered both in person and online through a 2-hour workshop each week for 6 weeks. Courses commence in October 2026.
