We are dedicated to helping small and family businesses thrive. As part of our activities to achieve this, we are inviting small and family businesses operating in Queensland to participate in a short, monthly survey.
About the survey
We send the survey to a random sample of businesses each month. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and is confidential.

Your responses help us establish baseline data on trends related to business confidence, trading success, and the key issues impacting small businesses so we can respond to business needs.

Privacy notice
The Department of Customer Services, Open Data, and Small and Family Business (CDSB, us, we, our) collects the information in this survey to inform the design of our services and programs. Additionally, we will use this information for benchmarking and evaluating the potential impacts of the services and programs we deliver. We will integrate your survey responses with other data about small and family businesses to ensure a comprehensive review that helps us understand broader economic trends
The responses you provide will be matched with existing information regarding your business (including previous survey responses) in our reporting database.
De-identified information obtained from the survey may be published in a summary format as part of the Queensland Government open data commitment. We will not disclose information that identifies you to a third party without your agreement, except in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and other relevant privacy laws.
This survey is being conducted using a third-party service, Microsoft Customer Voice, and information you provide in this survey will be stored in Power Platform servers in Australia.
