QImagery
QImagery is an online aerial photograph library that allows you to search for and view images by location.
You can access more than 900,000 high resolution historical aerial photographs of Queensland from the 1930s to 2015. Images are added monthly, as the aerial film locating project progresses.
Using QImagery
To find images, you can search by locality, address, postcode, lot on plan, or latitude and longitude. You can then view available photographs online, or download them.
Once you've accessed QImagery, click on Help for detailed information on searching, downloading and using images.
Images are not accurately located. They are generally placed using the photographs centroid (central point) to help with discovery only.
Customers can submit an alignment correction request so that we can work to improve accuracies as required.
Accessing most recent aerial photographs
Access the most recent aerial imagery mosaics dating from 1930 to the present on Queensland Globe. Where images are still under licence these must be purchased.
