  • Your business may be eligible for support if it's located in a specified border zone and impacted by the closure of the Queensland–New South Wales border.

  • If your business or not-for-profit organisation has been a COVID-19 exposure site you may be eligible for a rebate of up to 80% of deep cleaning costs (up to $10,000 ex GST) incurred in the 2021–22 financial year.

    This rebate includes businesses that may have undertaken cleaning aligned to the South East Queensland and Townsville lockdown that commenced on 29 June 2021.

  • Support is available for offsetting the berthing fees for marine tourism vessel operators at privately owned or privately operated marinas in eligible local government areas between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022.

  • Businesses that use and access the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park may be eligible for a waiver of  Permit Application Assessment Fees until 30 June 2021 and the Environmental Management Charge until 30 June 2022.

  • Funding is available to support exhibitions, performances, community engagement activities, touring acts and artists in residence to and from regional Queensland communities, and to assist in responding to touring challenges as a result of COVID-19.

    Quick response grants of less than $20,000 are also available through the Touring Queensland Quick Response Fund.

  • Changed eligibility criteria for instant asset write-off. Immediately write off the costs of each asset that cost less than $150,000 (up from $30,000) for businesses with an aggregated turnover of less than $500 million (up from $50 million).
