How to activate payroll tax registration in OSR Online

To activate your payroll tax registration, you'll need a transaction number and a client number.

You will get the transaction number when you submit the registration form. We will provide your client number after we’ve processed your registration.

There are 2 ways to activate your payroll tax registration:

  • Method 1 - use this method if you submitted the registration form yourself.
  • Method 2 - use this method if you did not submit the registration form yourself.

Method 1

  1. Log in to OSR Online.
  2. Select the Registration tile to see a list of applications that you have submitted.
  3. Select Activate for the relevant client.

A pop-up window will open, displaying the transaction number.

  1. Enter the Client number and then select Activate.

That form will disappear from the list and you will now see a View accounts tile on your home page.

Method 2

Before you start, you will need the 12-digit transaction number that was generated when registration form was submitted. If you don’t have it, call 1300 300 734.

  1. Log in to OSR Online.
  2. Select Add accounts.
  3. Select the Activation tab.
  4. Enter the transaction number and client number, then select Activate.

This creates administrator authorisation for the person that activated the registration.

If you’ve entered the information correctly, you will see a pop-up screen showing that the registration has been activated.

You will now see a View accounts tile on your home page.
