Access OSR Online for another person or entity

Once you have registered for OSR Online and created your personal account, you can be assigned access to manage accounts within your company or for other individuals, organisations and trusts. These details will not show automatically.

To be assigned access to another account, you need to create a contact card under your profile, which will allow a registered person to search for you in OSR Online. They can then assign permission to you to access their account and act on their behalf.

Example

John is a company director and wants to assign permission to his accountant, Mary, to access the company’s land tax details in OSR Online. John registers for OSR Online and accesses the company’s land tax account. Mary registers for OSR Online and creates a contact card.

John can search for Mary and assign her with permission to access John’s company account.

This feature is only available in OSR Online. Use OSRconnect for payroll tax, duties, betting tax, and mining and petroleum royalties.

Create a contact card to access another account

  1. Log in to OSR Online.
  2. Click your name in the top right of the screen and select My profile.
  3. Complete the Professional details tab to create your contact card and click Save.
  4. You will be prompted to confirm your details. Click Save to confirm, or Cancel if you need to edit the information.

Link your account to an organisation or trust account

  1. Log in to OSR Online.
  2. Click your name in the top right of the screen and select My profile.
  3. Complete the Request permission tab. If you are registered as a director or trustee, select the role you currently fulfil and provide identifying information. If you are a director of a corporate trustee, enter the trustee’s ABN or ACN.
  4. Select Request. This will start the approval process and activate your access for the entity.

If your relationship with the entity is confirmed, permission will be granted and you will have administrator access to the company’s or trust’s account. This means that you can also assign permission to someone else (such as an employee or accountant) who has already registered in OSR Online to act on behalf of the entity.

To view the company or trust account, go to Home and select My clients. Each time you log in, you will need to follow this process to view the that account.

If your relationship is not confirmed - and you are a director, trustee, or director of a corporate trustee - click your name in the top right of the screen and select Submit an enquiry. We’ll contact you to verify your relationship with the entity.

To find the accounts assigned to you, go to Home and select My clients.
