July 2025: Round 2 closed on 30 June 2025.

Submission of applications for Round 2 of the Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Grant (MEEG) program have now closed. Applicants who have submitted applications prior to the close should allow up to 12 weeks for assessment.

The MEEG program provides grants of up to $50,000 for Queensland-based manufacturers to improve energy efficiency measures and technology, reduce energy usage, costs and emissions.

The $7.1 million program complements the Advanced Manufacturing 10-Year Roadmap and Action Plan.

Round 1

Round 1 of the MEEG program opened for applications on 23 October 2023 and closed on 30 June 2024.

Round 2

Round 2 of the MEEG program opened for applications on 27 August 2024 and closed on 30 June 2025 .

Applications received before the closing date are being assessed. Applicants should allow up to 12 weeks from submission for assessment of their application.
