Payments and lodgement of Titles Registry forms

Lodging documents

Industry professionals are encouraged to use eLodgement and eConveyancing.

Instruments/documents may be posted to the Titles Registry or, in exceptional cases, delivered to the Titles Registry by customers between 9am and 4pm Mon to Fri (excluding public holidays).

The date and time of lodgement, endorsed on the instrument/document, will be the time the relevant details are entered into the Automated Titles System by Titles Registry officers and may be outside those hours shown above.

Business centre counters (including Level 11, 53 Albert Street, Brisbane) are closed.

As of Tuesday 31 March 2020, Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy business centre counters will be closed until further notice.

There will be no face-to-face Titles Registry document lodgement or search services in business centres (including Level 11, 53 Albert Street, Brisbane) until further notice.

Document lodgement by post

You can lodge documents by posting the document along with payment to:

Document lodgement in exceptional circumstances

Drop-off box facility at Level 11, 53 Albert Street, Brisbane (no cash payments)

A drop-off box facility is available at Level 11, 53 Albert Street, Brisbane for document lodgement in exceptional circumstances. Please note that there are no drop-off box facilities in other regional business centres.

Documents must be placed in the drop-off box facility with the completed drop-off box lodgement agreement and payment.

Registration time frames for titling instruments

  • Titling instruments, correctly lodged: 5 business days.
  • Plans of survey, correctly lodged: 5 business days if endorsed by an accredited surveyor, otherwise 10 days.
