Winning work on major projects

When tendering for work on major infrastructure and resource projects, it can be difficult to break into established supply chains of large international or Australian companies.

The Queensland Government's Local Industry Policy was devised to give your small- to medium-sized business the opportunity to be considered for opportunities to work on major projects in Queensland.

The policy is implemented by project proponents, who are required to develop a Local Industry Participation Plan that details how they intend to use local suppliers on a range of projects.

This guide will give you advice and information on how to win more business on major projects.
