Helping rural communities recover from Cyclone Yasi

Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi significantly impacted rural communities in North Queensland in February 2011.

The Australian and Queensland Governments have established a Rural Resilience Fund to assist rural economies and communities to recover.

This $20 million fund will be used to help fund business and community support activities (such as farm and tourism business clean ups), counselling and social support services.

This guide includes information on the support that is available to assist you in recovering from the cyclone.
