The 2008-10 Queensland-China Climate Change Fellowships
The Queensland-China Climate Change Fellowship Program was a joint initiative between the Queensland Government and Beijing's Ministry of Science and Technology in the People's Republic of China, which ran between 2008 and 2010.
The program exchanged 18 climate change researchers and policy specialists between Queensland and China. Each fellow spent 2-4 weeks at a host institute to improve their knowledge of climate change science, mitigation strategies and adaptation responses.
Fellows received up to A$8000 to help with return airfare and living expenses while they were on exchange.
Queensland-China Climate Change Fellowships research areas
Successful applicants worked or studied in the field of climate change adaptation and mitigation. Fellows provided written reports on their project results and made presentations to interested parties.

- community development and social research

- agriculture, forestry and fisheries
