Agbiz

The Agbiz website contains over 250 downloadable economic and financial tools to help primary producers manage their businesses.

AusPGRIS

The AusPGRIS website provides common access to information on germplasm collections. These collections comprise 130,000 accessions of crop, forage, horticulture and woody trees.

AussieGRASS

AussieGRASS, part of the Long Paddock website, is a system for assessing and monitoring the condition of Australia's extensive grazing lands.

Australian farm software directory

Containing more than 650 titles, this comprehensive guide is the largest of its kind ever produced for agricultural software in Australia.

AVOMAN

AVOMAN software gives avocado growers management tools and information for improving orchard productivity and fruit quality. It addresses the 4 key management issues - root rot, irrigation, nutrition, and anthracnose.

Breedcow and Dynama

Breedcow and Dynama software helps with herd management and evaluation of beef business for beef producers, agribusiness staff, agricultural teachers, consultants, bankers, research and extension officers, and students.

eResearch Archive

Farm Economic Analysis Tool (FEAT)

Designed specifically for the sugarcane industry, this spreadsheet helps growers assess the profitability of changes to sugarcane farming systems.

HowWet?

HowWet? is a Windows-based computer program that has been developed to provide a simple and accurate method of determining soil moisture and nitrogen mineralisation.

Long Paddock

Long Paddock is an Australian-wide database offering high-quality, climate-related decision-support information. Check the latest Southern Oscillation Index values, read about the latest seasonal outlooks, or view historical rainfall maps.

MacMan

MacMan is a management system to monitor and improve macadamia orchard profitability and nut quality.

MEDLI

MEDLI is a user-friendly Windows program that lets you design and test the long-term viability of an effluent treatment and irrigation scheme. You can identify weaknesses in the scheme, and explore alternative solutions until a suitable robust design is found.

Rainman StreamFlow

Rainman StreamFlow software lets you work out local rainfall patterns from 100 years of monthly and daily records.

Stocktake

Stocktake is a paddock-scale land condition monitoring and management package. It has been developed to provide grazing land managers with a practical, systematic way to:

  • assess land condition and long-term carrying capacity
  • calculate short-term forage budgets.

WhopperCropper

WhopperCropper is a simple software tool for crop modelling and climate forecasting. It helps agronomists and farmers better manage cropping risks.
