Getting the licences, permits and registrations you need

When starting a business there are many different Government requirements and it's difficult to know what you need. Depending on what stage you are at with your business, select one of the three levels of service below to help you determine the Government requirements for your business.

Level 1 - What you need to operate a business in Queensland
If you are just thinking about starting a business, this guide provides you with an overview of some of the basic considerations you need to make when establishing your business in Queensland.

Level 2 - SmartGuide - specific industry sector packages
If you are in the early stages of planning - access information on licences, business planning, market research, Government support services and key contacts.

Level 3 - SmartLicence
If you are ready to commence your business, SmartLicence Online will help you identify relevant licences, download the application forms, and where available, submit and pay for applications online.
